The Redeeming Light

The Redeeming Light

There was a whisper in the open, I could feel it in my mind
There was questions left unanswered between the lines
She stood there by the corner with a ribbon in her hair
I could hear the disillusions through hollow sounds
I could feel the sorrow emptiness through the leafs
Your emotions came in rushing your body thrown to the ground
As I stand here naked in the cold

See the light, its breaking up in the air
falling in the open streets
See the light, saving us from the bare
It is where we will meet
Once again

Time was standing still in the battle of the rich and poor
As we started a life together inside the open door
I needed compassion, you needed forgiveness
I was weak to your senses you were strong in belief
The vines of hope grew withered in the cracks
Of the stonewalls in the wilderness of grief
Where you made me weak and old

See the light, its freeing up our souls
Sweeping in the open roads
See the light, redeeming us as a whole
It is where we will unfold
Once again

Fluttering mimes mimic in the alleys of insanity
Sweeping through towns and cities lacking humanity
A wizard casts a spell on the open seas leaving
The world in chaos, creating the constant eruption
Of the faceless demons in your forgotten thoughts
A woman asks you “Can you see all the corruption”
The ego robots already sold

See the light, its separating our perceptions
Healing all our wounds
See the light, showing us new directions
Where we’ll swim in the moon
Once again
